The Gospel of Mary

Published by

Looking for something in regards to the Tibetan Book Of The Dead online (my copy is at home), when I stumbled upon this, from The Gospel Of Mary Magdalene, a codex found at Nag Hammadi. Unfortunately, the first four pages of the codex are lost, so I’m not really sure why they are discussing matter.

The Gospel According to Mary
Chapter 4

“…Will matter then be destroyed or not?

22) The Savior said, All nature, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another, and they will be resolved again into their own roots.

23) For the nature of matter is resolved into the roots of its own nature alone.

24) He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

I suppose, on a level, this could be seen as the usual “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust” rigamarole.

But on the other hand, it really has some interesting implications on a “David Bohm / Implicate Order / Folding and Unfolding” level, as well.

As does the following, from The Tao Te Ching:

“All things derive their life from it [Tao] All things return to it, and it contains them.”

I was looking for a connection between Joshua-bar-Joseph the Nazorean (aka “Jesus”), and the rest of the mess. I wonder if I’ve just found it?
