One thing that has, frankly, disgusted me during this whole Thing, is how often I find masks and gloves discarded on the ground.
This is biohazardous waste.
And sure, we’ve all found used condoms on occasion (which are no less gross), but the sheer volume of casually discarded masks and gloves I find in, say, a month, is much greater than the cumulative (no pun intended) number of used condoms I’ve found outdoors, in, say, my entire life.
I hope this illustrates how vile this situation is, and is becoming.I have a pretty strong stomach for things, but this got to me. I think if I’d actually seen this in the wild, I’d probably have to change my mask.
I wish people would think.
